COUPLES & ENGAGEMENTS: RELAXED PHOTOS IN FUERTEVENTURA & LANZAROTE
There is something wonderful about capturing real, candid moments between two people in love. Whether you are celebrating an engagement, a wedding anniversary, a surprise marriage proposal, or simply your holiday time together on the islands, our goal is to show your love in its most honest form. With over 10 years of experience as professional photographers in Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, we know that the most beautiful photos happen when you stop worrying about the camera and just enjoy being next to each other.
We completely stay away from stiff, traditional posing that makes you feel uncomfortable. Instead, we want your photoshoot to feel relaxed, easy, and fun. We focus entirely on the true way you interact—your spontaneous laughter, your natural movements, and your quiet moments together. By combining your unique connection with the raw volcanic landscapes and endless Atlantic horizons of the Canary Islands, we create a beautiful visual story that feels completely true to who you are.
PLANNING YOUR ENGAGEMENT & COUPLE SESSION IN FUERTEVENTURA & LANZAROTE
Fuerteventura and Lanzarote offer some of the most beautiful and dramatic locations in the world for a couple's photoshoot. As a local photography team that has explored every single corner of these islands for more than a decade, we help you choose the perfect outdoor setting that matches your personal style and energy.
If you love the feeling of huge, open spaces, the golden Corralejo Sand Dunes provide a beautiful, clean background with very soft light. If you prefer a wild and dramatic adventure vibe, we can take you to the deep sea caves of Ajuy or the high, windy cliffs of La Pared for an incredible sunset view. In Lanzarote, we often take couples to the unique black sands of El Golfo or the green palm trees of Haria for photos that look both natural and spectacular.
Engagement & Proposal Photography Tips
1. We Create a Clever Cover Story Since your partner does not know about the proposal, you need a good reason to visit the location while dressed nicely. Tell them you booked a special sunset dinner nearby, or that you want to see a famous view before going out. This keeps the moment a total secret but ensures you both look great in the photos.
2. The Secret Signal Before You Kneel We will agree on a simple, hidden signal before the day starts (like a quick text message when you arrive, or stopping at a specific landmark). This signal is crucial. It tells me to stop looking like a regular tourist, gives me a few seconds to get into the perfect shooting position, and ensures the background and light are completely ready before you make your move.
3. Take Your Time and Enjoy It When you get the silent cue that I am in position, take a deep breath and look at your partner. Do not rush your words. When you drop to one knee, hold that position for a few extra seconds. This gives your partner time to realize what is happening, and it gives me plenty of time to capture all the raw emotion, tears, and smiles.
